CIRCLES.

The waves pressed and rose, murmuring

in the darkness…

years of desire washed against your neck

and the stony shores of our bodies.

You tore into my chest,

ribs breaking in the slippery darkness,

the long-wounded blood demanding it,

struggling to become something real.

I looped my vicious body into your vicious body

and broke myself against it a million times,

dissolving, rippling into fragments and circles,

until the shore faded and disappeared…

over and over in this madness,

I made my pain your pain,

my betrayal yours.

The beginning, the end,

over and over again.
